Philosophy / Mission Statement:
Our philosophy is based on the belief
that children learn through play and hands on experience. Our objective is to
provide the opportunity for the child to develop to his or her potential
socially, emotionally, intellectually and creatively. Children are encouraged to
choose their own activities with staff participating when appropriate. The
environment is prepared in such a way that the child interacts within it, he or
she is prompted toward sensory experiences and experimentation. Creative needs
are developed when the children are encouraged to explore, invent and discover
through play. We believe children learn best when they are with nurturing
persons who provide age and or developmentally appropriate play experiences, and
who interact with the children.
