Child's View Day Care Centre
Philosophy: Welcome to Child's View Day Care Centre in Richmond Hill! Choosing the right Daycare setting for your child is very important. At Child's View, we provide a place where your child is safe, loved, and educated. Child's View learning programs help children grow physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Learning experiences are offered to allow the children to express themselves creatively. At Child's View, we guide children to learn as they play. Your child's health and safety are among our primary concerns. Child's View provides nutritionally balanced meals, including a hot lunch and two snack every day. Regular safety inspections are conducted along with fire drills. Our primary goal is to provide you and your child with the best available child care. We recognize the trust and confidence you have placed in us and offer you an opportunity to share the joys of childhood at Child's View. Laughter and hugs, sharing and discovery are what being a child is all about. Your participation as a partner in your child's early learning experience is important to us. Program Info/Highlights: Our goals for each child at Child's View Day Care include social, emotional, physical and mental growth and development. Activities that provide for progress in each of these developmental areas are the most important aspects of our learning programs. Each child is unique with individual interests and needs. At Child's View we have age specific programs that are planned to be flexible and promote development of each child's physical and social needs. Infants / Toddlers receive individual care and attention. With their limitless energy, natural curiosity and desire to explore for learning, they struggle for their independence. Therefore, their day is planned to coincide with the different activities that are programmed. Their physical needs are always monitored carefully. Children ages 2 ½ - 3 ½ years old are encouraged to gain independence as they explore their environment. Children learn through play as they experience exciting topics. The program includes a wide range of learning experiences that build on the natural curiosity of the age group about the world around them. We encourage development of important skills such as following directions, problem solving and working cooperatively. The Junior and Senior Kindergarten class learn readiness skills as the encourage creative expression. They too will learn to follow directions, problem solve and work cooperatively. All learning activities are child-centered. Activities are provided that are appropriate for each child's age, development and interests. At Child's View, we believe that learning is accomplished though interesting, motivational activities and well rounded programs that help your child discover the many joys of growing and becoming the best that he/she can be.
