Fredericton Early
Learning Center
351 Aberdeen St., Fredericton
(506) 452-8894
Philosophy / Mission Statement:
To provide a safe, inclusive learning center that supports the
overall health and growth of the family while providing a stimulating
environment in which children flourish.
Program Highlights:
The program is center based with an
emphasis on Phonics exposure and a balance of teacher directed activities. The
overall direction of the curriculum is based on the children's interests,
cultural background and developmental level.
We have an exemplary balance of
indoor and outdoor activities that incorporate many gross motor and fitness
aspects.
We have a full time cook who has
courses in nutrition and provides two snacks and a delicious lunch daily.
There are many special occasions that
promote parental involvement such as the annual Story Fest, Christmas Concert,
Mothers' Day Tea, Yard Sale and Year End Art Show / Completion Ceremony.
Having our own transportation allows
us to go many places such as King Landing, NB Museum, Cherry Brook Zoo, St.
Andrew Marine Aquarium and many others that are closer to home. We also
participate in two 8 week sessions of gymnastics at Kingswood for a reduced
price.
