Philosophy / Mission Statement:
Grand Boulevard Parent Participation Preschool operates under
the philosophy that children learn through play. It is a group in which
the parents, children and teacher all contribute to, and participate in, a
creative learning environment of growth. The preschool is non-profit,
founded and maintained by parents whose concern is to provide quality
educational experience for their preschool children.
Program Information / Highlights:
In our program, the children learn through play, which
provides opportunities to explore and challenge all areas of development.
The focus is on social/emotional development so that the children's self-esteem
is nurtured, while establishing acceptable behaviour and social skills to create
a classroom community. Parents are a valuable assistant in working
together to support children's optimal development and learning.
