Description/ Program Highlights:
"Grandma Hugs" Daycare is one block from Nicomekl school where there are 3 playgrounds and a large field. Brydon park is just down the road, a good walk on a nice day, with a playground and picnic facilities complete with toilets. Brydon lagoon is one of our favourites, where we can observe nature and feed the many different Ducks with Birdseed. Reading is encouraged and we read before nap-time. We offer basic Baby-sign, colouring, arts and crafts, age-appropriate movies and programs, painting, singing, and dancing. Play-dates with another centre are arranged occasionally to encourage and promote social skills. We also attend community events, such as Library trips, and many other special invites during the Christmas season.
