Philosophy / Mission Statement: We believe play is the work of childhood.
We recognize the value of unstructured learning by allowing children to make
choices, to experiment, and to use hands-on exploration of materials. We provide
developmentally appropriate toys and activities to facilitate the cognitive,
emotional, social and physical needs of your child.
We regard each child as unique with their own set of strengths and abilities. We
strive to foster these aspects of childhood by giving them the respect that they
deserve. Even at this young age children deserve to be asked what their needs
are and their responses should be respected. This helps to instill a sense of
security and trust.
At Little Friends we respect the individual needs of the child and in
partnership with the parents strive to provide a caring, nurturing learning environment
for each child. We believe that toddlers learn best when allowed to freely move
and explore in an environment which is physically safe, cognitively challenging,
and emotionally nurturing.

Other Center Features: We have a toddler house! We accommodate
our age group by having a location dedicated to toddlers. He have lots of
windows and natural light, a big play yard, and a great indoor layout.
