Philosophy / Mission Statement:
Welcome
to Little Stars Family Childcare! My goal is to create a warm, caring,
community for our children to play and work together. I believe that the
enriching experiences that our children have today are what transform them into
who they become. For this reason I try my best to fill each day with fun and
excitement, encourage active imaginations, and develop healthy lifestyle
habits. I believe each child is unique and will naturally grow to their full
potential when they’re given the care and attention they need to feel great
about themselves and those who surround them.
Program Highlights:
Little Star’s program is designed to give children the plenty of opportunity to
acquire new skills, explore their environment, and interact with friends.
Within the centre, various activities that range in challenge, interest, and
developmental process are provided in art, construction, imaginary play, music,
science, puzzles and books areas. Daily highlights include; group sharing,
storytelling, song, and movement time, structured and unstructured arts and
crafts, fresh air and exercise, occasional celebrations, presentations, and
fieldtrips.
