Philosophy:   

The Montessori philosophy was created and developed over 90 years ago by Maria Montessori.  Montessori education is the product of long and careful hours of ongoing research.  Through an awareness of how children develop, we create environments that meet their special needs.

The child is at the core of any Montessori school.  Dr. Montessori believed that no human is educated by another person.  In reality, the child educates himself or herself through their natural desire to learn.  A Montessori environment cultivates this natural desire and builds within the habits of lifelong learning.

Program:

Our program is full of carefully prepared and sequenced materials that support the learning process of each child.  Children perfect their natural tools for learning by working with these materials.  Intelligence is built through work and experience.

Within our program, each child learns at their own pace in a non-competitive environment.  A Montessori education allows each child to develop his or her own natural talents - whatever they may be - to the fullest.
