Philosophy / Mission Statement: 
        Promontory Preschool exists for the pure pleasure of childhood enjoyment. Stemming from five areas within the classroom, the children will enrich their awareness and grow intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. These areas are divided up into the science area, sensorial area, practical life, math and language areas. Three period lessons given by the teacher demonstrate the characteristics of the material. Given attention to the materials  themselves and their function.  The children are free to use any material needed after the presentation on his/her own. Exercise repetition is encouraged and new additional concepts are introduced, extending the exercise and adding interesting options. Art, structured and non structured, is an additional centre tactile experience  available all the time for fun and creativity.
