Philosophy / Mission Statement:

I want each child who enters my home each day to feel welcome, secure and accepted.  One of my main goals is to seek out and nurture those characteristics that make each child unique.  Other key principles can be summed up by these two phrases: "Freedom within limits" and "Fun with a purpose". I believe children thrive when there is a well-established schedule, with consistent routines and rules in place.   

PROGRAM INFORMATION / HIGHLIGHTS

Susie's farmhouse, located on the northern edge of Ingersoll, is a fun place for children to spend their days.  There are 2 large playrooms on the main floor, filled with toys and featuring a comfy book corner, as well as a quiet sleeproom upstairs.  A shady, fenced yard has a climber, slides and swings.  Nearby there is a safe hill for sledding.  Circle time covers a variety of topics, ranging from ABCs and 123s, to nursery rhymes, opposites, our country and dinosaurs, to name just a few.  The older children enjoy their one on one lesson times, when we work on skills such as listening, following directions, printing and phonics.  We have many party times throughout the year, for birthdays and other special days.  The children also look forward to our daycare Olympics.

Center Features:  

A variety of table and floor toys, plus Puppet Theatre, Riding Toys, board games, large blocks, balls, indoor climber and slide, toy kitchen, puzzles and easel.
