Philosophy / Mission Statement:
Prepare yourself to think differently about what to expect from your daycare center. At Tadpole Academy Childcare and Learning Center we believe that your child should receive both a quality preschool education and safe and loving all day care in the same place. While we provide a safe and caring loving environment for every child, we also give each of those children a full morning of educational preschool teaching that will fully prepare them for entering Kindergarten. All this is offered for the same price as regular daycare.

Learning
Centers
Tadpole Academy has many different playing centers for
children to play and learn in. There is domestic play centers to help children
learn social interaction and role play. Block centers to engage young minds in
developing building skills, social skills and thinking skills. Puzzle and
activity tables to develop problem solving and cognitive skills, and many
different sensory tables such as water, rice and play-doh tables that let little
minds explore and develop many different skills. Your child will be encouraged
to visit all the centers and engage in many different activities to promote all
areas of learning.
Programming
At Tadpole
Academy our teaching will focus on many different topics during the year. This
will give your child a chance to learn in depth about many different topics. In
no time your child will be teaching you what they learned at school today!
Every few weeks we focus on different themes and new learning goals we strive
for the children to learn. To teach these goals our art, circle time and play
centers all center on the theme. In addition to the themes your child will
learn and review the alphabet. And for those children who are ready, we will
start beginner reading all in preparation for entering kindergarten.
Circle time Fun!!
Circle time is an important and
very fun part of the preschool program. During this time the children gather in
a group with the teacher to listen to stories, sing songs and play games. This
is a time for your child to learn important school skills as well as developing
their minds. Your child will come home daily waiting to share with you the
songs and stories they learned that day!
Working with
Families
We know and appreciate how hard it is to leave your
children in someone else’s care every day. We all have our own families too and
know the difficulties and hardships being a parent brings. The staff at Tadpole
Academy is dedicated to working with all our families and meeting your care
needs. We have an Open Door policy for all our parents to feel free to drop by
whenever and even stay and visit for a while. We think of ourselves as one
great big family at Tadpole and look forward in having you join us!
A
Childcare Center is a second home for many children and should feel comfortable,
safe and secure for both the parent and the child. Tadpole Academy is dedicated
to providing the best environment for everyone in your family.
Don’t need
full or part time care? We also offer care to families who need just a day or
two here and there or need care in an emergency. Once your child is registered
for drop in care, call the facility and you can reserve or take the space for
the day you need. The center has a few spaces in reserve for these situations
however they are on a first “call” first served basis.
