Tiby's vision is that every child should have a fun space to learn and grow.
Using a variety of materials, children at Tiby’s HOME DAY CARE will develop language skills, cognitive skills, creative expression, sensory experiences, fine/gross motor skills, socialization and healthy self esteem
Program Info/Highlights:
Every new day:
We read a book, sing a song or two, learn a poem and discuss the theme.
The children are then given some free time to play.
This may include any activities, the play centre, math centre or art centre, or any writing activities that I have available to them. I will be there to assist, if need be, but the children are given this time to do what they choose.
After the morning snack, I will guide the children in an art/creative activity and music activities.
After lunch the children will take a two hour rest/nap. Soft music will be played at this time to help the children relax and sleep.
Once the children are awake from their rest time, we will go outside to play. If the weather keeps us inside, we will have gross motor development activities inside instead.
After the afternoon snack, children will have more time for free play until it is time to go home.
