At Wonder Years Childcare our aim is
to meet and develop the emotional, physical, social and intellectual needs and
abilities of each individual child. We wish to help ensure the care a
child receives is the very best and contributes in a wholesome positive way to
his/her daily growth and development.
Program Highlights:
The Daycare is organized into
learning centres (blocks, books, dramatic play...). The play materials,
equipment and activities are arranged to stimulate the children's creative
abilities and develop their skills in language arts, math, fine arts, science,
community studies, daily living tasks and gross motor activities. The
program provides for individual decision-making, problem solving, sensory
exploration, as well as small and large group interactions. At all times,
we aim to foster self esteem, and a respect for the feelings, ideas and property
of others.
To expose the children to many ideas and experiences, focus is placed upon
different topics throughout the year. Themes include Colors/Shapes,
Families/Friends, Animals, Transportation, Our communities...etc
